Hilfe: Wie komme ich über den Proxy?

Hallo zusammen,

Unser Firmen-Netz wurde umgestellt. Ich benutze IE 6.0, NT 4.0 und sitze hinter einer Firewall.
Bei den LAN-Einstellungen steht: Proxy-Server für LAN verwenden. Adresse : inet.dp-itsolutions.de Port 80.
Das Surfen geht. Seit der Umstellung unseres Netzes in die neue Firma ( vor ca. 2 Wochen) bekomme ich keine Verbindung mehr zum DF-Server, keine Pakete können mehr hochgeladen werden .
Mittlerweile sind 1405 Generationen gepuffert. Ich habe eine Datei mit Namen proxy.cfg angelegt wo drin steht:

Liegt es an meinen Einstellungen oder was kann ich noch tun um wieder Verbindung zu bekommen?

Läuft bei euch noch eine Firewall? Hast Du im DF-Forum mal geguckt, ob die dort etwas ähnliches beschreiben und vielleicht auch schon eine Lösung haben?

Ganz gewiss läuft bei uns eine Firewall. Im DF-Forum habe ich nichts passendes gefunden.

Hallo,

ich gehe mal davon aus, daß Du den Textclient benutzt. Nur der liest die Proxy.cfg beim Starten ein.
Du hast den Textclient sicherlich auch neu gestartet?

Mußt Du dich beim Surfen mit IE oder Netscape am Proxy authorisieren? Wenn ja dann mußt Du das auch in der proxy.cfg eintragen.

Mehr habe ich aus der Readme nicht entnehmen können.

If you don't know what a proxy server is, you probably don't need to read
this section. If your network is set up to block most outgoing traffic on
port 80, the client may not be able to connect successfully to our server
(for example, if you require a proxy server to browse the web). If you
suspect you are in this category, simply create a small text file called
"proxy.cfg" in the same directory as the client program (and this readme).
In it type two lines; the first line is the name of your proxy server and
the second is the proxy port (often 8080). If this file is found by the
client at startup, it will try to connect to our server using the proxy
specified. Here is a sample proxy.cfg:

proxy.foobar.com
8080

If your proxy server requires Basic Authentication, simply add your
username and password after the port number, like so:

proxy.foobar.com
8080

password

If your proxy server uses NTLM Authentication replace username above

Also wenn du dich beim Surfen authorisieren mußt, dann sollte das so aussehen

oder im Fall von NTLM (also wenn du an einer NT-Domäne oder Arbeitsgruppe hängst)

Wenn das alles nichts hilft, dann mach es so wie ich: Einfach jedes Mal einen Tag vorm Clientwechsel eine CD mit den Daten brennen, daheim über DSL hochladen und am nächsten/übernächsten Tag den Client aktualisieren. Bei uns ist das schon deswegen besser, weil ich nicht einfach jeden Monat 1 GB Daten für private Zwecke durchs Netz schaufeln kann.

danke für den Hinweis. Beim Surfen muß ich mich nicht authorisieren aber ich hänge an einer NT-Domäne. Ich probiere das mal mit username.domäne und passwort.
