**Warning: Beware of the Fake BOINC Project “Beacon@Home Dev”**
Warning About Beacon@Home Dev and the Misuse of My Code
My original BOINC projects are distributed exclusively through my official website:
https://bitboinc.athena.org.tr/
The source code is available on GitHub:
https://github.com/alplix/yarrow
My code is designed to read Geiger counter measurements through COM/serial ports and send those measurements to the main server through BOINC. It is not designed to collect arbitrary information from users' computers.
Beacon@Home Dev is using my code for a project that scans users' devices and collects information from them. This is not the intended purpose of my software, and I have no affiliation with this project or its operators.
**If you experience security problems or damage while using this third-party project, do not blame me or my original code for its actions.** A platform that uses my code for purposes unrelated to my software is responsible for its own implementation and activities.
My projects are officially distributed only through https://bitboinc.athena.org.tr/. GitHub is provided for source-code access, not as an alternative distribution platform for my original BOINC projects.
I will collect the necessary evidence and take the appropriate steps to report this project to the relevant authorities.
Do not confuse my original software with a third-party project that uses my code for other purposes. Always verify the source before running software on your computer.
Also bitte weitergehen, hier gab's eigentlich nichts zu sehen.
