Mahlzeit,
ich habe seit 2 Tagen massive Probleme mit dem Yoyo-Clienten:

Nach der 1. Fehlermeldung habe ich den Rechner wie vorgeschlagen neu gestartet, die nächste WU (war eine sehr kurze), lief daraufhin auch sauber durch.
Heute Morgen schaue ich unter den meldungen nach und sehe das o.g. Protokoll.
Hat jemand 'ne Idee wie man das abstellen kann, ohne den Rechner nach jeder WU neu starten zu müssen ?

Also den Fehler habe ich noch nie gesehen. Im stderr von dir sehe ich

No heartbeat from core client for 301 sec - exiting

Daraufhin wird die evo abgeschossen und neu gestartet. Für mich sieht das so aus, als ob Dein [[Boinc]] ein Problm hat. Ich würde vorschlagen Boinc zu deinstallieren, das ganze boinc Verzeichnis zu löschen und neu zu installieren.

Welche Boincversion hast Du? Hast du an der rumgefrickelt, die "optimiert"?
Ist der Rechner irgendwie überlastet, zu viele Prozesse, Platte voll?

Ich werd gleich mal eine "ogr"-WU versuchen, mal sehen ob's da auch auftritt...?

Nach dem zurücksetzen des Projekts habe ich eine ogr (in 21:56h....) rechnen lassen - kein Problem

Eigendlich würde ich ja lieber die evo's rechnen - die Laufzeiten sind mir auf meiner alten Kiste einfach sympathischer, und mehr Credits gibts auch

Besteht noch eine Chance den Fehler zu lokalisieren, oder muss ich mir nen neuen Rechner kaufen ?

Ich habe eben im Chat bei SG gelesen, dass dieser Fehler im BOINC-Clienten 5.10.30 liegt, und ab der Version 5.10.31 behoben worden sei.
Ich habe mir daraufhin die bei BOINC verfügbare Version 5.10.39 runtergeladen und installiert.
Etwa eine Stunde später :

Die wu war aber erfolgreich. Dafür gabs auch credits. Allerdings waren im Log einige

Die beiden apps (boinc core client und das rechenprogramm) unterhalten sich ab und zu miteinander, damit jeder weis das der andere noch das ist.
Das nennt man heartbeat.
Es scheint so als ob der yoyo wrapper nichts mehr vom core client gehört hat.
Normelerweise beenden sich dann die rechen apps und warten darauf von boinc noch mal gestartet zu werden.
