OK.. so the application doesn't like it when my computer hangs.

The second result crashed with the same error message:

Still, would it do external checkpointing, it wouldn't mind that the PC was rebooted. But at least now I know what exit code -2 means here: The application was restarted in the middle of work. Or the OS hung, so the application couldn't end properly.

looks like a restart of the application. Seems not to work. This topic is already on my todo list.
