This work unit is at about 400 hours and has been at 100% for over 80 hours. I see it was first created in February and has 10+ attempts with no result. Should I abort or just keep going. If I abort, will I get credit?
Thanks.

Re: Workunit 6329160
1) Credit is given only to valid results.
2) It is not unusual that a WU continues running although the progress bar indicates 100%. As long as your task manager indicates progressing CPU consumption, I would leave it running.
Michael.

Re: Workunit 6329160
Right.
For reference... Looking at the work unit: http://www.rnaworld.de/rnaworld/workuni ... id=6329160
The "Estimated runtime on reference system" for that task shows, for me, on that webpage: 2w 2d 7h 16m 41s (1408601.1224138 s)... = 391.28 hours.
Your "wingman" (the person that verifies your work) has completed it, and it took them: 2,049,516.27 s = 569.31 hours.
So... as for a recommendation:
I'd let it run at least until about double the larger value (so, 569 x 2 = 1138 hours), and ask about it again if it's still not finished by then.
PS: Don't forget to ask for deadline extensions, if the server deadline is within 5 days from the current date... by asking here: viewtopic.php?f=75&t=10717
Regards,
Jacob
