Long running work unit

I have a couple of tasks each that are WAAAAAY WAAAAY past their deadlines and are far less than 50% complete, one is 81 days in with over 160 days remaining!! Do I keep running them or abort them? I'm going to run a task from here there or someplace else so it really doesn't much matter to me if I let them keep running, wuprop keeps on racking up the hours so it really doesn't matter to me.

This is normal and the remainig tasks can be VERY long.
