Your host 26748 seems to lack a BIOS Setting that enables the virtualisation capabilities of your CPU.szopler hat geschrieben:Please generate some new VM WUs
NOTE: BOINC has detected that your processor supports hardware acceleration for virtual machines but the hypervisor failed to successfully launch with this feature enabled. This means that the hardware acceleration feature has been disabled in the computers BIOS. Please enable this feature in your BIOS.
Intel Processors call it 'VT-x'
AMD Processors call it 'AMD-V'

That may be true but the problem with disabled VT-x settings is that we can't run 64bit VMs ( it says so in the wikipedia article and in the VirtualBox manual chapter 10). So in Order to use the full potential this has to be activated. Is there any harm in activating it (except the hassle for the user)?Norman hat geschrieben:this bios-feature should not be a requirement for the virtualbox.
virtualbox is working fine with disabled VT-x setting into the bios too.
maybe we you should disable the check (vt-x or amd-v) in rnaworld-VM, because it´s not really urgent to enable this for our crunching?!
( OK, little bit more performance )

You just have to check on the front page under Applications to see that there is an Mac app available for the VB.JeromeC hat geschrieben:Hi all
sorry I don't have time to read the full topic, is there a Mac app released for the beta VB/VM application ?

I don't think so and I'm very interested to test it.
Thanks to let me know.
