work unit deadline discrepancy

One of my computers (7887) has been crunching 3013823 for 194 hours. The deadline according to boinc is in about 12 hours. However, the deadline according to project info (above url) is November 12th. Which is correct? The cpu is still active on this workunit and it's been at 100% for about 120 hours.

The deadlines for the Intron-WUs were extended by the project, but BOINC doesn't reflect that. Whether there is any possibility to pass that information at all, and it's simply not done, or whether this possibility was never implemented in BOINC I don't know.

The right deadline is the one here in your account. It was extended, because there are some difficulties with the Intron-WUs and they tend to take considerably longer as anticipated. I've got one of those buggers as well Don't stop them, please.

Indeed. The deadline for this series of WUs has been extended. I also have four of these running (with 200+ hrs of current runtime), their former deadline was October 19th. So, you can just keep them running...

Thank you both for the information and response. The WU has continued processing through the boinc deadline!

After checking my other computers, it turns out I have 2 more of the intron-WUs crunching.
