Well, generally you will get the credits once they are validated. But you are right: It seems these WUS require to be sent out once again. And to me it appears likely that this time things might be better as we have the checkpointing implemented.

There is still no solution for cross checking XXL and VM tasks so these ones are still on hold until this is possible.

I would try to run them and other not finished WU's in a selfmade Linux VM if it will help. I like to have more than one checkpoint (Snapshot) for these really long tasks.

Have these tasks been re-submitted to the VM system? If so, once they are completed using the VM approach, credits could be given on a semi-manual comparison of the output files.

I didn't re-submitted them to the VM-App because it is still a bit unclear on how this semi-manual comparison can work. I did some preliminary work on how to connect the WUs to each other but than other things got a higher priority.

Edit: I took a fresh look on my previous work and will re-submit those 137 XXL tasks as VM tasks today, probably.

Michael, is this the reason I have a "validation pending" on my completed WU?

I completed this a few days ago and validation is still pending. If validation is done by comparison with other task, then it's strange because no other task was generated for this WU.

Could you please provide an URL to the tasks you are talking about? Of course, validation is carried out automatically. If the same WU is still out there and so far only your task has been completed, validation will only occourr after another task of this type has been completed.
