lol, I remove ram from the servers if it looks like it will never use it. (like watch the largest #, and then outfit that server with just double that number) I don't want to pay for electricity for idle ram.

the server will to send a WU which need more RAM as you have installed/free.
so you get none of this type of WU.

RNA World does not support GPUs, because for the currently implemented RNA World projects, GPU tasks are not completed faster but would just require more electricity on GPUs. So, you can deactivate GPU support in the BOINC manager.

You have Windows running, so CMCALIBRATE WUs are not delivered to your machine, because these tasks are only handed out to Linux-x64 boxes. That is the reason for the above message. As far as CMSEARCH WUs are concerned - these would be deliverd to you machine - it seems that the server currently only has CMSEARCH tasks available that have high RAM demands. Here, the RAM requirement is depending on the genome size that has to be analyzed.

XP-pro can have only 4 GB!!

That depends. Mine for example is 64 bit and has 8 GB such that each core of my Phenom II Quadcore can handle 2 GB tasks on each of the cores. So, the big WUs are assigned to those machines that can handle such tasks and for the others, a message as shown above appears.

I use nvidia-gpu for gpugrid - collatz - dnetc - seti.

Do you use Windows XP or Windows 7? Because Windows XP cannot see more then 4 GB.

Put the server down, please and correct everything including more (Windows) WU's.

Windows XP Pro x64 is the OS I use.
The server will not be shut down. It constantly produces and delivers work to many people. There is nothing we can do about the WU production except the measures we have taken. The only effective thing would be to have additional WU generating servers which we currently do not have.
