It should end. The duration indicator still rises, right? To my experience it will slow down at some point and then count down. What puzzles me is that this WU is not exceptionally demanding. An i7-920 machine with Linux x64 should cut it away in around 13 hrs. Windows will use more time due to compiler differences. May I ask what runs in parallel to this WU?

The pc has win7 64. Along with this unit are WCG projects, poems and FreeHAL. This unit has never stopped processing, but once you play the pc to do something, the time increases a lot.
Last night in the absence of 2 hours to finish the drive, as it had to work with the pc, the drive probe pausing and giving a resume when you finish working, increasing the duration to 149 hours to complete (we were 2).
Only want to know if this is normal or not, but as personal opinion, I think they should shorten the duration of these units, because so many people think of cancellations is wrong

P.D. Processed 86,30 hours. You have 98 hours. 32,4%. it never ends

Well, it is of course clear that if you occupy the machie by playing or with other tasks, you slow down computation.

If I have any other project I take ie word or even remaining time does not increase as 3000% over this project.
If any such unit WCG remaining 3 hours to finish and I begin to play for 1 hour, when I finish playing it's logical that the unit will continue running 3 hours but not 100

P.D. P.D. Processed 95 hours. You have 94 hours. 38,6%

I have explained the reason for this behaviour above.

Incredible. I had to turn off the pc because I had to switch off the light, and turn it back on the drive now says it has processed 13 hours nothing else ????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????
He says he left 39 hours and only 5.6% is processed.

This is nothing serious. Enough to lend my pc to help, but no time to throw it away and process more after having processed more than 115 hours.

RNA World does not offer checkpointing at the moment, so if you turn off your computer or it crashes, all the work you have done so far is lost.
It is quite the demanding project that (at least for now) needs a little human care to run properly. If you prefer less hassle (which is understandable and perfectly fine) you should pick different, more convenient projects like the ones you mentioned above.

But as it is possible that some units that can last over 200 hours a pace that will not tenan checkpoints ????????
Not everyone has the pc on for days. I for example had about 2 months without shutting it down, but today I had to reboot and lost everything. I sincerely doubt it is well done the job and thus you will lose many people who can process in a project that seems interesting.

We know that it is a clear drawback that this project currently offers checkpoints only under Linux x86. But it is described in the FAQ and we are working on implementing checkpointing in a more universal way as soon as possible. :D

You can believe me when i say that this matter was kind of a hard discussion in the alpha-phase of RNA World.
But there is no other the way. At this time there will be no checkpoints for Win-Users. Thats it.
Of course it will be not out of sight for the developers, but it is a long-time-task (much longer than a RNA-WU  ).

We actually hope to have the VM code available for testing some time in April, already. :D

For my part I'm sorry but I read the FAQ for each project I start. I think you've done very badly not to checkpoints of units of that size and that is why many people are going to process in your project. Not everyone has weeks and weeks on the pc. Pcs are used for work, going on at times, and so on. This is done in a disinterested way but I was annoyed about losing 120 hours (said quickly) trial that could have done a lot in other projects, so he left the project.

A greeting.
