| My name is Paul Daly. I was born in Dublin, in the Republic of Ireland in 1978 and I lived in Leixlip, Co. Kildare for most of my life. Just before Christmas 2006, I up'd and moved all the way over to an little village called Longwood in Co. Meath. For those that may not be from around here, Meath is the historical centre of Ireland, home to places such as the Hill of Tara, which is the traditional seat of the High Kings of Ireland. It is also where you will find Megalithic tomb Newgrage - a structure that is older than the great Pyramids of Egypt. Back to the boring stuff now! I am currently working as a software engineer for an Irish bank. I mainly work on UNIX based Oracle systems including Oracle Express (OLAP) and Data Warehouse. I also dabble in some Java, VB and a few other bit and pieces! As well as computers and general technology, I am also interested in music, Gaelic football and (occasionally!) soccer. After crunching solo for some time I decided to join a team. After looking around for a while I decided that BOINC Synergy was the team for me. I joined up early in 2005 and never looked back. As well as some of the best BOINC stats, signatures etc. out there, we have a very active, friendly and helpful membership from all over the world.
