NumberFields @ home searches for fields with special properties. The primary application of this research is in the field of Algebraic number theory. Numbers Theorists can search this data to find interesting patterns that help them to formulate new assumptions for many fields. Ultimately, this research leads to a deeper understanding of the profound properties of numbers, the building blocks of all mathematics.
The final result of the project will be complete number field tables that are available:
- in tabular form or
- as a searchable database
