Amicable Numbers is a project that uses voluntary computing power to search for of amicable numbers - not to be confused with friendly numbers! (Wikipedia). It is a private project of Sergei Chernykh. The current goal is to find friendly numbers of pairs whose smallest member is smaller than 2^20. The search should facilitate the theoretical research in this area. In addition, the understanding of the properties of the Divisor function should be improved.

Duration is the average computing time needed, having the CPU clocked at the variable.
Deadline is the timespan, within which the Work unit needs to be finished.
What does a work unit calculate?
- Each work unit only searches a specific numeric value range.
- To exclude calculation errors, each work unit is calculated by at least two participants.

- Das Projekt nutzt für jede Workunit eine bis alle von BOINC zugelassenen Prozessorkerne.
- Unter den Projektoptionen lässt sich die Anzahl an für eine Workunit genutzten Prozessorkern einstellen.
- Die bisher gefundenen Zahlenpaare sind hier zu finden.
- Das voraussichtliche Erreichen des Ziels kann unter dem Projektstatus im Bereich "Arbeit" eingesehen werden.
