Windows pop-up reports cmsearch error Exit status 195 (0xc3)

Just found another thread about this error, though it's not been added to for 2.5years,
error - exit code 195 (0xc3) on CMSearch

The pop-up window only allows me to cancel or debug the task. When the window appears the task does not progress. So when it happens overnight I loose CPU time. As the tasks don't checkpoint I can't close Boinc, then Cancel the task and start Boinc up again to begin from the last checkpoint.

I've had 9 such errors in the past few of days:

I checked two, judging by the results of your wingmen, it must have happened just when the workunits were done.

This might be caused by a windows patch/update while the program was exiting. Installing the update can already cause it, even if there is no reboot in progress.

(sure not the only possible cause)
