Workunit 6000664 didn't finish as expected. Instead, it reached 100% progress and kept going. I'll let it run some more, though - I haven't decided how much.

That is absoluteley normal for the long WUs. Please do not abort it.

Michael.

Could I have another extension on these please and thank you.

Having 3 wu's estimated to go 22+ wks each does tends to tie up the machine for a bit...

Nachdem meine Tochter mal wieder den falschen Knopp gedrückt hat, bitte folgende WU IDs um ca. 4 Wochen verlängern:

6015669
6010418
5831148
5978609

Danke. 8)

My copy of workunit 6000664 is now Completed, can't validate, apparantly due to the large number of users who aborted their copies. Do the
limits on number of copies for this workunit need adjusting so that more people can try it?

Well, it indeed seems that this WU is no longer handed out due to the many previous abortions. I think this WU can and should be reactivated but Yoyo, who is in charge of these things, is currently on a business trip and will return in about 2 weeks. So you need to have a little (more) patience.

Michael.

Having the same problem with http://www.rnaworld.de/rnaworld/workuni ... id=5994565, I've completed it but it looks like no one else will.

Perhaps when Mr. Yoyo gets back he could fix this one as well.

It would be a shame to see 972 hrs of crunching go to waste...

WU cms_GA-p[e30-50MB_Lin64f]_1_Dani-rerio-(zebrafish)_CU651613.lin.EMBL_RF00028_Intron_gpl_1330438623_21980_11 is currently sitting at 4407 hours remaining after 12 hours of cpu run time. Is this a normal sized WU or is something amiss ?

Computer is a AMD Phenom 8550 x3 core@2.2 ghz 5% oc with 6 gigs RAM@1.6 ghz

Is my machine to slow for this type of WU and I suspended everything else in order to dedicate all 3 cores to some how try and get this WU down in time but to no avail.
