My laptop is 15 days into this WU (http://www.rnaworld.de/rnaworld/result. ... d=14954628).

The deadline is November 25 but it has 68 more days (aprox Jan 15 2020).

Will it get credit?

I'm being careful with it.
The laptop is not getting shut down or put to sleep.

Holy cow!
That WU generation date was 30 Nov 2013, 12:59:36 UTC.
6 years of roaming...

The deadline will be auto extended while you are crunching these monsters
While there's no wingman for that task yet to get a great estimate, my guess is it will take about 150-350 days of CPU time to complete.
And yes, so long as the PC communicates with the server, the deadline will auto-extend.
I believe if it loses communication for more than 2 weeks, the server considers it abandoned/aborted.

Two people are on it at present.

Indeed, for autoextension the contributor must have Internet access at least once every two weeks.

If you want to shut down your machine, it is recommended to shut down the BOINC manager manually beforehand and wait until Virtualbox really has written all snapshot data to disk (just give it a minute or so before shutting down the machine).

Michael.

Good!

29 days reached 21.28%... This is going to take all winter and looks like March 7th (136 days) to complete.

The i5-2520m in this machine is getting old and worried about shifting it to greater than temps over 75C
Maybe when it gets even colder it can move from 2600Mhz to 3000Mhz and stay under 80C and shorten it by 10-15 days.
