Excellent! :D
The single task I am currently working on is running for 188 days now...

Michael.

After almost 200 days of computation on an i5-2500K CPU, another monster WU is now completed:

Unfortunately, it is classified as inconclusive and I believe that the run time of the wingman is way too short to represent a valid result.

Michael.

Excellent job completing it! Congratulations - Good work!

Though, the inconclusive result was predicted to happen in November 2018, here:

Per your replies in that thread, maybe we can finally consider validating some of the tasks that require manual validation?
I'd love to help with that.

Regarding completion: The task progress will go up to 98.765%, then stay there indefinitely. Usually, a task is only about halfway done at that point. Let it continue to run until it completes and no-longer shows on your list of BOINC tasks.

Welcome to the club!
If you give me a link to your task, I can try to do some calculations to estimate how long it might take you to complete it.
...Glad I decided to check this forum/thread regarding the WU I have--I just hit that % in the last 24h, and the the time remaining counter doesn't know what to do with itself! :roll2: :3d: :drinking: :bugeye:

I crunched some numbers for you, and got these estimates for how long it might take you to complete the task, based on your wingman's completion.
It's looking like 60-85 days of CPU time..... maybe. :roll2:
