app affects comp performance

Id just like to leave a note that when I play 3d games and have RNA running, there is a significant impact on performance to the 3d program. With other projects i can leave the CPU apps running while i play with little or no impact to the performance of the game.

I have an i7 with 6GB ram running windows 7 x64 and a ATI 5770. I am using BOINC 6.10.29 x64
