I have a MOUN Wu at 38+ Hr's showing 550% Plus Completion, what to do with it, it isn't showing any or very little CPU Activite ...

I am running Linux Fedora 16 64 bit, and I keep getting MUON errors.
I get a pop up on the screen to say that there is a problem with the MUON Lattices and that I need to Upgrade?

I have updated Wine to the latest version including adding/updating Gecko.

I have the evo-muon tar file included in an app_info.xml file which has worked in the past, I just can't get it to work now. I checked and it appears to be the same file you have on your download page.

The work units display this error message but keep running up time, when I click OK it then gets a computation error.

The version number displays as 20091224.01

EDIT :: OK I found that the MONO package was not installed under Wine, so I think I have managed to download the latest version and get it into the correct folder. I will await another MUON WU and see if it works or fails.

Well that didn't make any difference at all.
Had another two work units fail with the same error message.

"No lattices found compatiable with current Muon1 version. Please upgrade"

How do I do this?

What lattices and where to get them? I thought they would be in the Muon programme, not something I had to add.

EDIT:: I have now stopped doing MUON on my Linux machine as I can't get it to work at all.
I have double checked the Evo-Muon download file and it is the same as I have installed on my computer.
The app_info.xml file is also the same.
All other YOYO sub-projects work fine on the same machine.

I have no idea about these Lattices I appear to be missing or where they are loacted, they are not on the download page.

I think you need a newer muon.exe version.

Where do I get an updated version?

The download page still shows the MUON file "muon44d_win32.exe", which I think means version 44.4 (placed on the page on the 28/11/09 and 372.3 kB in size), not the current 44.5?

Clicking a link under NEWS on the front page for MUON led me to a Stephen Brooks web page and I found a Windows ZIP file that contains lots of far more recent files including a "muon1.exe" file, but I don't know if I need any of the other files in that ZIP file or none of them. The file is called "v445.zip". The "MUON1.exe" file is dated 25/3/11 and 371.7 kB in size.

have copied that file over and placed it in the project folder, also edited the app_info.xml file.
Have now enabled MUON again and will see what happens.

I wasn't sure, that the new 4.45 version runs under wine. I had problems with it in my tests. Therefore I didn't released it.

Well I still don't know if it will work either as I don't any work units running at the moment, but one has downloaded and I am just waiting for it to start.

I had to end up detaching and re-attaching to the project as even with the new executable it still failed.
added back in all the files needed to run the various sub-projects and with the modified app_info.xml file (which didn't work before, even failed downloads), all seems to be OK.

Will report when work unit does something.

Linux and Muon 445 working fine, have now successfully completed 2 Muon work units and been granted credit.
So works fine with Wine and Linux.
