EULER 625 work units

I would love to start crunching this new sub project. Can anyone tell me what the RAM requirements are for these work units? I have only about 100mb to spare. Thanks in advance.

The App is currently in test and exists only for Linux. The app requires 128MB RAM.

On Ubuntu 10.4 64bit its taking much longer to finish one, around 17% at 30min, before 100% in 18min. Is the search area larger?

The deadline must be longer. I hope also for the future to validate results with a basic computer time not the fastest one x 2.

Yes, we expecting an effort of 740GHz years.
It is currently in test, therefore the deadline is short.
And we are searching in a larger range now, therefore the workunits are much longer than before.

You didn't increase fpops_est though, which will result in weird correction factors - and I hope that fpops_bound will not become an issue

edit : 1st estimate is that they will run nearly 10x as long (Xeon L5520/Win x64), so you could probably just multiply fpops_est and -bound with 10

good I returned the first ones now, nothing strange to report. (Host = 30425)

Returned my first Linux EM64T result without problems

Virtual size 506 MB
Working set size 432 MB

Memory consumption is round about 512MB by design.

PS: Is somebody interested in an Application for some unusual Unix system, like BSD, Solaris, HP,...? Of course there must be Boinc available for this system.
