HarmTree for Android doesnt start. Hint for fix

I found bug in your configuration for harmtree for Android.
Just you forgot "api_version" on "app_version" info.
<app_version> should have following line:

<api_version>6.12.38</api_version>

api_version should be set to '6.0.0' or higher version. Boinc for android
doesnt support SYSV IPC, which is supported in earlier boinc versions. Only
later version (from 6.0.0) of boinc_client can handle shared mem via mmap.
This is reason why application didn't run.

Can you fix this bug?

I'm just looking how I can add this on the Boinc server. There I don't have an app_info.xml.

Thank you yoyo. Simply try to define api_version (>=6.0.0) for harmtree for android. This going to solve problems with app's starting.

I think I found the place. It has to be changed in the database table app_version. There should be a row for the android application and a xml-blob that looks like on the bottom of this page: XmlFormat#app_version. app_info.xml exists on client side only.

Now, is android app starting working? was bug fixed? No, please inform me and users (on message board). Many users still are awaiting for fixing this problem.

Add it to the XML-blob and than restart the feeder (so it rereads the app_version table). I hope it will not choke but this feature is very old and with any luck it is already available in yoyo@home or at least the XML gets send to the client without a check.

I added it now. But in Boinc it still doesn't start.

You may need to reset the project on the client side so it get's a new app version, hopefully with api_version included.
