Hey Michael,

I am sorry to report that the gRobots project has been forced to take a severe back seat along with many of my other projects due to a home invasion i suffered a while back in which the bandits stole my entire home network including backup servers, disks and the lot. it's a long and nasty story but due to a few problems with my insurance, ie it expired, i have been working hard on paying gigs to replace my kit.

it will re-emerge next year i think, when i have some time to myself again.

schade, schade.... und was ist mit nano@home? soweit ich erkennen kann, wurde deren seite zuletzt i märz 02 erneuert, aber nix interessantes dort zu lesen....endlich mal richtig interessante projekte, und dann das!

Habe mir Robert Bradbury, der wohl hinter Nano@home steht, einige Zeit lang Email-Kontakt gehabt (er war auch sehr an Folding@home interessiert und hat sich dort auch sehr im Forum und bei den Rechnungen beteiligt). Er hat mir damals mitgeteilt, daß es beachtliche Finanz- und Designschwierigkeiten für das Projekt gibt. Er hatte zum damaligen Zeitpunkt (gut 6 Monate her) mit dem NIH Kontakt aufgenommen, um die in das Projekt einzubinden (NIH=National Institute of Health, USA). Er meinte, es könne gut noch einige Jahre (!) dauern, bis sich konkrete Umsetzungen des Projekts sehen lassen. Also satt(!) Geduld mitbringen...
