Thanks Yoyo, I see a new deadline for "23 Oct 2012 3:52:05 UTC". However, this hardly fits with the 2300+ hours I initially reported (please see my previous posts). I just resumed it, and new ETA is 2333:23:54 so it's about 100 non-stop days but since I use boinc at work, 9 hours a day aprox., 5 day...

too bad.. I think it should reflect on my computer, by just doing an Update on the project.

Anyway, I still see deadline of "23 Sep 2012 3:52:05 UTC". How long does it take to reflect the change to the new ETA?

Oh I forgot... I run Boinc at the office, so time of computing is about 10 hours continued on weekdays only. 2306 hours with that schedule (50 hours per week) is 46.12 weeks (322 "calendar days"). I understand ETA considers this since Boinc is smart enough to take all this into account and calculate...

Hi. I have a task running for 6 hours and the ETA has been always increasing. Right now is at 2307:56:57 and slowly increasing (it adds 1 sec every 7 secs). Is this normal? Of course, the task won't finish in time, since that was not the ETA when it started. I'm using cmmsearch XXL (long) 1.0.2 0.30...

what!? well.. that explains it all.... this reminds me of a nice-to-have feature asked on the boinc manager, like "run until finish", when using dual core machines... one core for switching tasks, the other one for tasks with these kind of features, or your "favourites/priority" tasks... Case closed...

just to notify... I modified preferences to run just evoltution@home. Downloaded one task... after some running time, it came back to 0... started again... downloaded a second task... first task ran a few hours each day... today it was back to 1%, and the second still at zero... sorry, but I'm suspe...

Ok... too bad... now, why does the column "To Completion" increases along with the "Elapsed" time? This seems likes a joke, a neverending task. Even with the progress bar in "steps" of 1/3, the time "To completion" should be fixed (or at least, not change every second!)
