Why are PS3 credits so low? Surely I should be getting better than 25 credits per hour. That's 600 a day! I could do that on a Pentium 3. It's not worth the electricity, the noise, or the heat generated. Don't SPU's put out like GPU's? EDIT: Well actually it's 25 per 10 minutes. That's more like 360...

I didn't say boinc, I said the boinc "user". In Gentoo, the boinc program is run by the boinc user. The default for the Wine config file is '~/.wine', but the home of the boinc user is /var/lib/boinc. However, the system is still trying to open it up in root's home folder. Anyways, I got it working ...

I am using 32 bit wine. I have multi-libs installed. It doesn't matter. I have the same problem on my 32-bit machine. Perhaps it's the version of wine I'm using, but things work as stand alone. For some reason the boinc user tries to open a config file at /root/.wine.

Has anyone got this working on Gentoo 64? Wine keeps failing by looking for the .wine folder in /root/ I tried to create it in /var/lib/boinc, but that just crashed my boinc client. Do I just need to move on or is there a way to get around this?
