Looks like a heat problem throttles the cpu. Check your temps.

Looks like an older boinc installation file is needed but was deleted. Try the windows installer cleanup utility and remove all boinc entries in list. Then try it again.

For the new test: overview ~750GHZ years, is this correct??? On Ubuntu 10.4 64bit its taking much longer to finish one, around 17% at 30min, before 100% in 18min. Is the search area larger? Um dem RAM-Problem entgegenzuwirken, wäre hier wirklich eine Multithreaded App ala Aqua ratsam, schon alleine wegen den Laufzeiten. Leider ist der RAM zur jetzigen Situation zu teuer um endlich mal auf 8GB aufzustocken.
