yoyo-MacOS--running multiple sub projects

#1 Ungelesener Beitrag von leonAzul » 20.02.2009 22:40

I see that several sub-projects have been made to run within the yoyo wrapper, yet to date I only have OGR available.

Is there a setting in my account that I have overlooked, or has the simultaneous running of multiple sub-projects not been implemented?

Hello,
for Mac only the ogr application exists.
I do not have a Mac to compile also ecm. So I need help from somebody who can compile on Mac the Boinc-Api, the wrapper and ecm.

Thank you for your quick response.

According to this web page, Mac OS clients (including 68k!) for evolution@home are available:

http://archive.evolution.ws/legacy/evoh ... nload.html

They seem to be active, so I am wondering why I have not received any WUs from them.

Also, although I am inexperienced, if someone could direct me to a tutorial I would be willing to contribute some time and effort in doing some of the porting myself. I have access to an Intel-based Mac with Xcode 3.0, a G4 with Xcode 2.5, and an ancient PowerPC with MPW--can't help with testing the 68k! XD

Should I compile a MacOS PPC and Intel ECM application for you ?

Hello,
thank you for reporting this.
In this case it is normal behaviour. A user found a factor for the ElevenSmooth number 2_3465M.C414. Therefore it makes no more sense to complete the remaining wus for this number and the server aborts them all.
best regards,
yoyo
