Any idea why the pretty purple lines have stopped, on the Server Status graphs?
... especially the first graph?

Yes. I patched the scheduler to send out the one result that was stuck in there for ages. Now there are no unsend results. Thus the query that updates the graphs does not return anything, which is different from returning 0 (zero) which is why the graphs seem to have disappeared. All of the graphs behave the same way. I could make the queries more complicated so they return a proper zero but more complicated in this case means more strain on the DB. I don't see the gain right now.

Edit: I think I found an easier way. Let's see after the next update of the graphs.

Thanks. I like looking at those graphs, as motivation to tackle the monsters :) :)

Edit: Uh, they appear to be broken I think.

Yeah, now they just show as broken images. Fun. I hope they can be fixed.

If I try to view the first one, for instance, it takes me to http://hopper.rechenkraft.net/y-m/boincrna-day.png
... and then I get:
You don't have permission to access /y-m/boincrna-day.png on this server.

It looks like the graphs for "unsent workunits" aren't receiving data. The images are viewable, but the data just shows a flatline for several days. Could you please fix it?

I tried to fix it, that broke it. then I reverted my fix so it should be working right now. Maybe the tasks are send out faster than the script is checking the value. I would really like to have a 0 instead of NaN but this needs some more research.

Christian,

The 2 "unsent work units" graphs haven't been working for a couple weeks now, and so the "by month" one is half-missing.

Any chance for a fix, for both graphs?

I'm just back from vacation. I have to look into this with a bit more detail and maybe come up with a more complex database query that always reports back something instead of "NaN". This should fix the graph.

A problem with Task 14952905:

http://www.rnaworld.de/rnaworld/result. ... d=14952905

Every time it starts running, it runs a little over 10 minutes, then goes into a state of:

Postponed: VM Hypervisor failed to enter an online state in a timely fashion.

No checkpoint was written first. Windows 10 requires fairly frequent reboots for updates, and after every such reboot, the elapsed time drops to zero.

The only other BOINC project I subscribe to that has VM workunits is showing the same problem.

The deadline is over 5 months in the future, so I'll try to fix it.

I don't think I've ever had any successful VM tasks before, so could anyone suggest what could be the problem?

The normal ways of checking the version number don't work with VirtualBox, so is another way available?

In the slots folder, find:
slots\[slotNumber]\stderr.txt
.. does it show any problem?

Also, find:
slots\[slotNumber]\[boinc_xxxxxxxx]\Logs\VBox.log
.. does it show any problem?
