CMsearch large not saving state on any kind of suspend
Re: CMsearch large not saving state on any kind of suspend
This is an Intron workunit. These Introns runs very often very long and the runtime estimation for Introns is often wrong. But in your case your wingman finished already after 381h of runtime on a C2D wih 2,4 GHz. Your AMD Athlon(tm) II X3 420e seems to be much slower.

And yet my cores test out as 8% faster at fp and 37% faster at integer math (than the Core2), and BOINCStats says that it has only been 5% slower on other RNA World jobs than the 2.4 GHz Xeon I was using before. Do Intron jobs have a history of being especially slow on AMDs?
Re: CMsearch large not saving state on any kind of suspend
Sorry folks, have had to abort that one. I didn't know there was a checkpointing problem, Windows update wanted a reboot, so I did, and it restarted. It is not worth trying again, the power supply at the moment is tempremental, so with the best endeavours, I cannot say it will be un-interrupted for the month or so it was saying it needed. I've disabled XXL wu's.
Re: CMsearch large not saving state on any kind of suspend
"max # of error tasks" might become a problem for Adrian's WU very soon, should be increased.

Re: CMsearch large not saving state on any kind of suspend
I find some XXL need only 2-3 days, which I prefer this, could you make a category just name XL or L for this kind of job.
Or I have to manually dropping the very long one.

Re: CMsearch large not saving state on any kind of suspend
Could you create category of L or XL for those 10 hr to 2-3 days jobs? I cannot run project for more than a week but I would like to run those less then 3 days. Thanks.
