I already wondered why you as super muon cruncher had so much faults with 1.07 ;)

That machine is the gateway to my network and the Comodo firewall wants to stop any new app that runs until I approve it manually. I tried setting the whole BOINC directory with subdirectories as safe but it still makes me manually confirm the new application. Something must have errored in the WU while it was waiting. The earlier V1.07 WUs were not allowed to start. I assume this was the last stopped one when I caught it in the AM. I think it's a bug in the firewall that will hopefully be fixed soon. Strange though that this could damage the WU somehow. Sometimes things just happen...

I hae crunched quite a few muon 1.07 units, with most taking 2.5-4 hours. I currently have one that has been running continuously for 11 hours now, could it be a long unit or should I abort??

Thanks/Danke

Result zurück

On my machines is muon 1.07 working well.
Process priority is now OK on low, no aboard and restart after shutdown also works.
Got credit for all reported results.

So far this afternoon I've had 6 Muon WUs beginning with "muon_080425171315" on 2 machines. All 6 failed but all other WUs run fine. The error message is:

[error] Can't rename output file muon_080425171315_29_1_0

I aborted them as they showed 0 CPU and no progress after hours.

Regards/Beyond

Thanks for this notification. These wus will not run. I canceled the ws on the server and will try to avoid this kind of problems in the future.
