muon 1.07

I just released version 1.07. Thanks to Cody who made some of the changes. This is new:

- number of simulations reduced from 4 to 2, in avarage the wu should now need half of the time.
- muon priority changed from low to background
- displayed used cpu time is now also stored and should not fall back on a restart (at least not so much)
- some files are moved from wu to application. Wus should now be smaller and the application bigger.
- muonfiles.zip is no more sticky for wus which are now generated, so the files is automatic deleted on client side.

% of time BOINC client is running 98.6005 %
While BOINC running, % of time work is allowed 99.3843 %
Average CPU efficiency 0.986441
Result duration correction factor 2.944316

I have a Muon WU that's been running far longer than any other I've seen:

http://www.rechenkraft.net/yoyo/result. ... tid=888036

It's been going for over 33 hours on a relatively fast machine and is way over 100%.
Earlier it was up to 200% when I had to shut down BOINC & restart the machine.

Here's the last section of the stderr.txt:

wrapper: starting
running muon.exe, 1. times
running muon.exe, 2. times
running muon.exe, 3. times
running muon.exe, 4. times
running muon.exe, 5. times
running muon.exe, 6. times

Is this WU OK or should I abort it?

Hello,
short, because I'm on a business trip now, it is not normal, you should abort. A muon wu should never show more than 100%.

Thanks, aborted. It was still running at 38+ hours. Wasn't sure about this as the Evolution WUs often go well above 100%. I think it was the first WU run on this machine after the change to v1.07. If so the firewall blocked it from starting until I saw the message and confirmed that v1.07 was OK, so something may have gotten messed up...
