This is a strange one, probably not unique to Yoyo, it could be BOINC wide.
The credits/results don't add up! See attached.
Under "Sub Project Breakdown" the sum of the credit for the individual projects, in my case 1005 + 11484662 + 2035 + 2001517 + 1747 = 13490966, but the total given under "Results" is 13640005, a discrepancy of 149039 too much! I have more credits than I should have!
There's more.
The sum of the individual day results under "Last 28 Days" is 507719, but the total given under "Hosts / Last 28 Days is 526517, a discrepancy of 18798 too much.
I've looked at a few other user accounts at random and this appears to be generally true. Given that most BOINC projects have an element of mathematical precision in them, it is a bit unsettling to discover that something as relatively trivial as the credits system apparently does not add up!
Any ideas?

Re: It doesn't add up!
I think, it could be because the user stats and the subproject stats are not generated at the same time, but one after the other. Therefore there could be workunits validated between the two, which would cause more credits in one stats than the other.
Re: It doesn't add up!
I don't believe the project stats would be higher than the sub-project stats though.
It might happen the other way round.

Re: It doesn't add up!
There was a time when yoyo@home was started where there were no seperate stats for the subprojects. The stats for subprojects was introduced later. Credits from before the introduction of the subproject stats could not be assigned to a subproject. Therefore the total credits are higher.gemini8 hat geschrieben:I don't believe the project stats would be higher than the sub-project stats though.

This should only concern the subprojects OGR, Muon and Evolution. All other began after the introduction of the separate stats.
Re: It doesn't add up!
That's a good point which I can fully accept.
One which should be valid for other projects as well.
