One of my computers crunch Harmonious Trees tasks(7 tasks) , 70 hour's left, so wait...

P.S One of the task, crunch 150 hour's successfully completed!

Well, you were lucky then. I crunched one task over 3 days, it was running the new 0.03 Harmonious trees and the SERVER canceled the project and gave me ZERO points...

Looks like their are still bugs in the WU's because it didn't auto-shutdown after 48 hours...

Sooo, since they wasted a TON of CPU time/power/electricity for nothing, I've stopped running Harmonious Trees for now...

I have to say, I sure don't appreciate the ZERO POINTS thing at all, not one bit. It wasn't a redundant result. An email confirmed it was done intentionally by the staff. If there are so many problems, they should refer to the project as BETA until things are worked out IMHO....

You would not get finished this WU and Boinc would cancel this wu after 8 days. This would mean no credits for 8 days cpu time. Therefore I cancelled this wu.
EAch wu is unique, so such things can't be prevented totaly.

Well, that doesn't matter... You could then do the polite thing and give SOME credit since "I" pay the electricity and equipment bills. We are volunteers, but that doesn't mean we are to be abused.

You could have also extended the time to beyond 8 days... 30 days, who cares?

But, to bleed electricity and money for nothing isn't fair. We are NOT here for you to experiment with, but here to help real research. IF this is a Beta project with problems, that should be clearly stated... and you should still give points because real work was done... even if you cancel it! YOU cancelled it... I was happy to let it run for a week or two...
