Danke für den Link. Am besten gefällt mir ja dieses Statement:
Computationally, using Copernicus is like taking a Lamborghini to run out for milk. Folding@home, on the other hand, "is kind of like a rocket. It takes a big deal to launch it and once you launch, it goes really far," Pande said. "You don't use it to go to the corner store."
Versuch einer Übersetzung:
Vom Standpunkt der Berechnungen her gesehen, ist die Verwendung von Copernicus als nehme man den Lamborghini, um Milch zu holen. Folding@home hingegen wie eine Rakete. Es bedarf viel Anstrengung sie zu starten, doch wenn sie einmal los ist, geht sie sehr weit. Man nimmt sie nicht, um zum Laden an der Ecke zu kommen.
